The Northern Counties Dance Teachers’ Association is a non-profit making organization for the support of dance in all its different forms and has a large membership with individuals from all over the country. 

By joining our Association you will be invited to the lectures, meetings, socials and dinners that the NCDTA promotes. There are a wide variety of dance subjects this association offers to students at the numerous branches and also professional qualifications for those of you who wish to become Dance teachers. We have always upheld high standards for years and we also pride ourselves on the friendliness and support we offer and the willingness to help each other.


Honorary Member and Patron of the NCDTA Speech & Drama Department, Daniel Brocklebank

Daniel Brocklebank is an Actor & Voice Over Artist with 25 years professional industry experience. His theatre credits include seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Birmingham Rep, Royal Exchange Theatre, Almedia Theatre Company in West End and global productions. His many movie credits include Shakespeare In Love (Miramax), The Hole (Pathé) and The Hours (Paramount Pictures) playing opposite the likes of Meryl Streep, Gwyneth Paltrow, Judi Dench & Kiera Knightly.

His television credits include Merlin (Hallmark) The Devils Arithmetic (Show Time) Ed Stone is Dead (BBC3) Casualty (BBC) Emmerdale (ITV) and is currently in Coronation Street (ITV) where Daniel has been playing Vicar Billy Mayhew since 2014.

 Daniel is privately LAMDA trained and also has a 1-1 Diploma in Musical Theatre from Redroofs Theatre School. Daniel taught at the New London Performing Arts Centre in Muswell Hill, North London for four years where he was head of the Prevocational Drama Department.
